Hello and welcome to this weeks Dev Diary, the vacation greetings part 2!

Last week there was no dev diary, as I had nothing new to report regarding the project. This week is quite much the same, but I do have something to announce today;

During last week, I broke my break time a bit and pondered the game mechanics a bit, particularly the leveling and game progression side of things and potentially improved the experience a little, on paper at least. The games I used as inspiration for the improvements of the mechanics were Hearts of Iron IV, Europa Universalis IV and The Long Dark. An interesting combination, I must say, and goes to show that not every idea must be from the same genre of games, as the one you are developing.

That is actually all for last week, as I still try to do as little as possible, as breaks are also important to retain your motivation and strength on the long run. I'll see you on the next Dev Diary, in one or two weeks, at the latest.

You can check out every possible mid week announcements about the project on these official channels;
